As I was trying to spruce up and rearrange the "look" of my present series of blogs (2014-2018), I came across blogs I've written ten years ago, 2008...pre-Winnebago days; the days when I hopped into my Caddy and drove two days to get to Daytona Beach Shores and spend the month of April (off season $50.00/day) at the Emerald Shores Hotel right on the beach facing east; The Snowbirds were all back up north to celebrate the holidays. I was up with the sun everyday. What a spectacle. With side trips to Boca Raton and Port Orange, I visited friends and relatives. These writings brought back so many wonderful memories; exactly what journals, blogs and diaries are supposed to do and why I hope that if you have any love for writing that you too pick up the hobby of writing; Set pen to paper, or, nowadays, fingers to keypad and record what goes on in your special life. Although the blog format is an old version, you'll notice parts of the page are taken from the present blog program...like my profile which speaks of my new love for the RV--which I didn't have in 2008.
